Before I had the oil pan gasket replaced, I was running 10 PSI at idle, 50 PSI at 3K RPM, and 35 PSI at 2K RPM. Now, after the oil pan gasket replacement, I run 12 PSI at idle, 52 PSI at 3K and 30 PSI at 2K. Why the 5 psi drop in the 2000 rpm range?
what kind of oil did he fill it with and what were you running before?

I was running 5w-30 synthetic blend and he put in 5w-30 regular oil. He did re-use the same filter also (does that matter). On a side note, I definitely lost 5 psi at 2K rpm. Today it was running at 30 again. I don't get why it dropped so much at 2K rpm??
different oils are different.

Is this a concerning oil pressure drop or would you know if I have good Oil Pressure numbers? I called local Toyota dealers and they have told me the car is too old for them to keep record books now. I do have a Haynes Manual and it lists the oil pressure readings for various rpm ranges but is it accurate you think?
your oil pressure is fine.
