Take a look at what I've bought. Doesn't seem like much, but then you notice all the little things you've bought to make it what it is... and it gets kinda depressing to see how many thousands of dollars you have poured into it......

Then you drive it and it's all justified tongue.gif
yeah, i just got my riser blocks yesterday, not sure how they are going on, and should have my fogs tonight, and i won my jdm tails and they will be here on the 13th..... and im absolutely broke

Yea, you need a slightly larger pocket book than you might have originally thought you needed in the beginning. While my car was only $2800, it has cost me well over 5k to get it to where it is now, and that's with me finding parts on sale and using paint shops like Maaco.

x2 on not having a job...but hopefully that will change real soon so i can start spending again! smile.gif
Lol. $7400 for the car, and I stopped keeping count on how much I've spent on it a LONG time ago. I'm just now getting to the stuff that actually matters, so I'll start keeping count again. Just don't give up! Every penny you spend on the car is a penny well spent.

I've spent a total of $17,700 (on rough calculation, probably more than this) on my three Celicas (including purchase price).

That makes me facepalm.

My WRX has a little over $18,000 into it (with purchase price included)

and my MR2 has $3500 invested (with purchase)

It'll only depress you more.

I believe Tufy itemized all of his mods and it was something like $40,000.

But it's cool because he's a baller.

At least your spending it all on fun stuff and not repair costs. When it rains, it pours. Over the last 2 weeks, I have spent:

$227- CV joint/axle work
$349- master and slave cylinder and rear brakes (parts and labor)
$187- O2 sensor and Celica Hyper Rev (okay that last one doesn't count)

I got no money left to get fun stuff like SSIII risers smile.gif

Not repair costs? I would call my radiator and axle bills "not expected" lol.
Castrol, that's really not bad to have your dream car!

96stgreendemon, you know you're gonna love it when all those boxes start showing up with your new parts! It's worth it. Nothing feels quite as good as knowing you've got new stuff.
