Hey I got a small prob with my engine.. there are 2 hoses right next to the passenger side axle on my 3rd gen 3sgte engine that connects to a sensor.. the problem is.. that sensor was cut and I cant plug back in those 2 hoses.. does anyone have a clue what that sensor is called? I couldnt get a good snapshot of the sensor with my phone.. hopefully someone may know what im talking about.. I dont think there are any other sensors remotely close to the passenger axle.. im not even sure if its a sensor to tell you the truth.. but I do know that it has 2 connectors where 2 hoses plug to it.. and I know one them is for vacuum bc when I did a vacuum leak test smoke was comng out of one of those hoses.. so yea any GT4, or swapped 3sgte owners.. need help with this.. ill try my best to get a pic soon

just fishing in the dark here, as i worked on a friends car the other week... what your describing sounds exactly like a egr/evap purge control solenoid...

once again, just a guess

umm... you sure its not the lines for the power steering pump? i think all the EGR stuff is near the driver side which makes me think about the ps pump... which does have the idle pickup (vacuum switch) right on the pump... the two hoses run off the intake manifold and IAC line...

the diagram shows the lines going to the EGR system and its listed as an air control valve, but i know for a fact that my lines run to my PS pump, but i also no longer have an EGR system on my swap

lol I love you guys.. yep thats it.. Valve Assembly Air control. so it looks like Ill have to buy that and the hoses since its broken.. is there anywhere else I can get it lol.. that sensor is super expensive.. price looks like euro.. so even more expensive for US.. im wondering if its possible to maybe glue those hoses back on the sensors until I have enough to replace haha

Yea my power steering line is cut also pitt lolol.. wish I saw these things before I put the engine in =(
