$300, 2 12" Punch Rockford RFP3412 Subs, sealed in a sub box, and a Rockford 500X Amp. My car audio system is currently completely stock, except for an old pioneer deck, which I will be replacing soon. I have wanted subs since I bought my car and I just want to know if this is a good deal, or if I can do better for the price. Also, do you think it'll fit nicely in the trunk of my car without removing the spare? I have a GT Hatchback.

If it isn't worth it, what should I offer? Or should I not consider them at all?

well it is a good deal, but you will need a better amp, a 500 watt will simply not give that thump you want, i have a single 12 and a 600 watt amp, it shakes the damn car, but for 2 12s you will need at least a 1000 watt amp in my opinion, and rockfords are only about 70 bucks at best buy, sealed box is about 50, hope this helps

its a below average deal, the box isnt the right shape for a hatchback, 500 watts is plenty but that amp won't be putting out 500 watts into those subs... its ok but i wouldn't buy it... another thing... one sub is plenty for our cars... i wouldn't waste the money when you can put together a much better system for cheaper

Breaking Axles...
So would you guys recommend one 12" sub instead? I just want some really good bass (most of the music I listen to is heavy on bass), and I do not want to pay too much. I also want the box to look decent, and still have access to the spare. Any ideas? Just remember that I live in Canada so we're not as blessed as you guys are when it comes to deals...
i had to make my own custom box works exactly the same.

the box arks over the spare.

all it cost me to make was about $25 all up.

DOSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
