The vinyl on the doors looked ugly since it was torn in several places, so it didn't look sexy anymore.
Thanks Spider77, it took me a a while but i got it done, the only thing now is that the material picks up to much lint so its a pain in the behind to keep it clean

Just keep a lint roller in the back seat, works good for seats and even floor mats too.

Sexy. Worth it the slimline ones? Have any pics further back to show the sleekness?

^ Nah. I have them, they're overrated. The contact points are still not uniform.

Dude, very nice project. As a Coupe owner I'm gonna keep an eye on this!

Gotta copy the lip. Did you screw it on? Don't the screws go right through the bumper and be visible from the front?
Thanks man, Yeah for the lip it does go through the bumper but it is not visible from the front, it only goes through the bottom

What do you think are the best things you can do to a coupe to make them lightweight and handle amazingly?
1.Coupes handle better than hatchbacks, some say, because of there body stiffness
2.Coilovers
3. Lose the back seats and spare tire
4.Strut and sway bars
5. Good tires
6.Good driver

Any progress man?

I love this build...Gives me ideas for my new Coupe.

Can you tell me how and what you made the front lip out of?
Actually yes
i got a new upper radiator hose, new 3 inch intake and put my strut bar back on

i also had the chance to add some touches to my interior

as for the front lip i used this as a lip

You can find it at Home Depot, its called Frost King garage door bottom seal.

I'd say bolts and nuts from your local Home Depot. Just drill holes in the garage guard thing that correspond to the holes already on the bottom of the bumper.

Yah she still lives, I replaced the water pump and timing belt not too long ago and now i have been trying to keep her healthy since I'm too busy with school. The Sparco seat is also in I just haven't gotten a pic of it yet.

Okay here's a question for ya.

I want my shifter set up to look EXACTLY like yours. I want a small [short] shift boot so that it leaves the stick exposed. How do I mimic yours? I love it.
thats just the stock one without the round clip holding it up, mine sags like that too because I don't have that clip.

it looks better on his because it looks like hes got a short shifter (otherwise theres an ugly S bend in the middle of the stick)

The boot was off of eBay, i just folded it so i would be shorter, the short shifter is from a 7th gen Celica, also off of eBay, and the shift knob is called Help and you can find it at any auto zone I believe

Actually I wear the grip tape down faster than any of my shoes, it really helps my feet from slipping when its raining and my shoes get wet

How did you do that little rear window visor? I like it.
