c-one ECU - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #71183 10 posts Started by abflug
Does anybody know how much horsepower and torque you can gain with the c-one ECU for a 3S-GE engine
beams? or straight up 3s-ge.

for the cost, the increase will not be worth it.
if i had to ball park an N/A engine i'd say maybe 8%hp 5% tq increase

well if your running a 3rd gen 3sge (178bhp) anything above 10% (so +195bhp) some sort of programable computer is a must. also depends on your setup itb's cams etc

what is your setup?

ya I was wondering that as well. As i plan on getting a c-one ecu for the 4th gen 3sge. I'm probably going to have the same set up as wayno fx has from beams owner group.

but the price from nungun is $2000 for the beams ecu!! and that is alot. I wonder how many ecu the company made for the beams and how many they actually sold. Doesnt nenjun do bidding on an online japenese version of ebay. You think i would be able to buy it for $1,500 shipped

Yes nengun does do bidding on yahoo japan auctions. But the price of an item you might want to find on there, could come out to being the same if not more than an item brand new. And add to that, finding a C-one ecu alone for the 3sge..

I'm planning an engine swap with the 3S-GE non vvt-i or vvt-i.
And I'm doing some research to the horsepower and torque that I can reach withouth putting a turbo on it.
to get good gain on 3s-ge you need :

- new cams
- compression up
- fuel and ignotion tuning (SA ecu or piggyback)

- new Intake manifold or ITB designed for new cams, stock is bad ( I tested on dyno )
- new Exhaust header or just new Y-pipe (2-1) stock is restriction
- move REV to 8200 rpm

I have it done on 3s-ge rev3 and rev4 red-top

3s-ge rev3 stage1 : CR 12:1 customs cams IN/EX 278 deg 11.2mm + fuel and ignotion tuning , piggyback

3s-ge rev3 stage2 : new exhaust , new Intake manifold (currently testing new itb ) , IN PROGRESS still testing

BEAMS swaped .......
this dyno is only up to 6700 rpm , jdm ecu on 4th gear cat at 184km/h

modyfication :

-cams 278 deg
- CR 12:1
- fuel and ignition tuning

BEAMS swaped .......
didnt you sell your beams swapped celica?!!! well I dont really like the sound of itb they are not even street legal here in the U.S. but neither is a engine swap thats not smog passable.

How would you have to modify the intake manifold to compensate with the 12:5.1 compression ratio? are you doing a build on your celica at the moment?

I still have my beams swapped celica :

-modification detail are in my profile

almost finished itb in my celica

this 3s-ge rev3 dyno is my friend celica , I did modification in his engine

BEAMS swaped .......
