Look under the hood, on the firewall, almost right in the center, there's an engraving on it that says AT200 and some other stuff, that's how you know. I think also the sticker on your door jamb says so.

God made man....Everything else...Made in China
A- Engine the car came equipped with.
T- Chassis code. All Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive Celicas are T chassis, so is the Caldina.
2XX denotes the trim level, starting at 200, 201, 202, 203, 204 and the top trim, the 205. Not all trim codes are used. The T Chassis started at 160 with 4th Gen, 180 with the 5th and 200 with the 6th, the 7th is 230.
Thus a FWD Celica with an A series engine will always be a ATXXX where the following three digits correspond with the generation.
6th is AT200, 5th is AT180, 4th is AT160. Yes, there is such a thing as a 4th Gen with a 4AFE.
If a FWD Celica has an S series engine in it, it will be an STXXX where the following three digits correspond with the generation and trim level.
Only the ST was available with the A series, thus and A series equipped Celica will always be the lowest trim code. AT160, AT180 and AT200.
Your thinking privileges have been revoked!I am now your thought process.QUOTEDon't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
ST203- SS-I with 4WS
AT200 and ST204 are the only two chassis numbers which concern US 6Gen owners.
