Curious - Order of Trims, US & Japan - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #72055 5 posts Started by Espo
I'm just curious as to what the different trim levels of our cars are in order of least power to most. In my head, it goes like this:

US ST
US GT
US GT-S
JDM SS-I
JDM SS-II
JDM SS-III
JDM GT-Four

Is that correct?

And also, I'm curious to know what's the difference between the three SS levels, and the SS-III and GT-Four - also what the difference between the GT and GT-S is.

I always see talk about each of these different trims and I'd like to get them straight in my head.
I've read all those - I should have worded my post differently, I'm more interested in what engine comes in what trim (I know the ST/GT/GT-S) and what the differences are in the exteriors of the four Japanese models. I'm tired, please excuse me lol
this thread covers the ST202 (SS- I, II, III) smile.gif

I'd place the USDM GT over the JDM SS-I because of the 5S-FE vs 3S-FE. But according to output figures, There is little if any difference.

I think the emissions control in the US and the more agressive tune for 100 octane in Japan is what makes the extra 200cc worth **** on paper.
