[DIY]lug wrench & backseats - 6G Celicas Forums

Hi there,i was doing some cleaning/maintenance in my car and i had a great idea!

i removed those from my car



I bought some velcro straps



Cool thing about those ones, they have an adhesive side!

So here we go, first, the backseat



then, my lug wrench cross



And heres the result!



i hope they will stay in place while my car is running, feed back soon (wainting for my new antenna mass to reassemble the rear of my car)
I'm sure plenty of other things can use this system!

This would be handy for someone with an amp that doesn't want to screw into their seats.

hum, bad news, the adhesive side is not strong enough to stay in place.I had a feeling that someone like this was going to happen.Ill try to see how to fix it,maybe nails?

I thinking maybe clips screwed in might hold better?

thats what i figured would happen, i was about to say. how much more an amp, impossible for its weight.

Yeah omg I had the exact same though man, was hoping no one tried to do this with a decent amp. Mine would barely even hold on the back seat screwed in!
Was a neat idea for the lug wrench though-

Use 5 minute two part epoxy to hold the velcro strips to the back of the seat. You'll never get it off again, but it will NEVER come off.

Or better yet, reupholster the back of your seats in velcro fabric.
