Sydney, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #72145 30 posts Started by dustin15brown
Hey everyone. This summer I will be studying abroad in Sydney, Australia from May 20, July 20 and then off to Auckland, New Zealand for an undetermined amount of time. I just have to be back at Purdue by August 23 for classes. So with this being said, who all lives in the area and can either suggest things to do or would want to meet up? During the weekdays I'll be at my internship or in class for the most part, but evenings and weekends should be free while I'm in Sydney. Then when I'm in Auckland I'll be visiting one of my best friends and his wife who moved there for her Graduate School so I'll be free to do about anything.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd go... smile.gif
If you don't get yourself into a GT-4 while you're down there, I'm gonna have to shank. Sad that the Celica has to go, but it is a great opportunity.

I have no idea where in Auckland I'll be. My friend attends university at Auckland, but that's all I got.

nope, can't say i am! I will have to check it out I guess. I have liked what I've seen so far, I have kind of been relaxing. Heading to Rotorua this weekend. You should gather everyone up for a quick meet!
biggrin.gif oh your in for a surprise when you get there biggrin.gif biggrin.gif . If your looking for things to do recommend that if you can, go to RIPS in Rotorua and have a look around.

dont like my chances this weekend, where are you heading next etc??

ST202 SS-II CELICA threadNew Zealand members check inSticky thread's: How to contribute and troubleshoot.
What is there to do exactly at RIPS?
Here's my plan for the rest of the time I'm here.
Friday- Staying in Auckland, not much planned
Saturday- Driving to Waitomo to do the black water rafting in the glow worm caves. Then off to Rotorua.
Sunday- Street Luge, Gondolas, and Thermal Pools, back to Auckland that night.
Monday- Chillin during the day, then off to Rotorua again at 5.
Tuesday- White Water Rafting on the Kaituna (23 foot waterfall, woop woop!), and then a free afternoon
Wednesday- Sledging and then Hobbitton and back to Auckland.
Thursday- Free Day
Friday- Flying back to the US
Any ideas? I really wanna get in a '4' While I'm here.... Make it happen people!
Just got home.... Delusionz took me out in his GT-4 tonight smile.gif
properly nothing, just an idea

It was good. His ct-20b blew, so he is currently using a ct26, so it wasn't quite the same, but still fun!
