CF Interior parts - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #72175 17 posts Started by WORK4POOP
Just finished a set of parts for member cyprusGT. For obvious reasons I could not test fit the parts on my dash. They look pretty sweet and I hope the owner will proudly post pics when he has them installed.

this kinda thing takes time. sanding parts, adding some kinda adhesive let it dry to be lil tacky, put ur cf material down, tape it back around parts, add ur resin to it few coats and let dry add more let dry do more sanding with higher grit paper. its a process i can tell ya that.

work4poop and terbeau, where do you guys get the material (CF, and adhesive) for doing this yourself? I'm very interested in having someone do it for me, or learning how to do it myself. work4poop, what do you charge?

well looking at his work he uses the actual woven cf that is allot more than what i have done. im working on doing this wayy too. the cf he uses involves like crap ton of hours. mine is just a peel and stick or spray and apply the cf cloth. and there is an obvious matt cf and glossy cf look difference too. u can buy my stuff on ebayy if u want to just to it a cheap generic way and still have the cf look
