Hey Everyone i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a 7afe motor from. I'm looking for one that has low miles if possible. It doesnt have to be brand new but lower then 110k miles on it My car has just about 264k miles on it and is burning oil really bad. Please let me know if anyone has any info.

You know i completely forgot about the oil stabilizer lol. Im stilll looking for a newer motor
Did you do a compression leak test? Maybe it's just the valve seals!! wink.gif Oil may be leaking into your combustion chamber.
You may not need an engine at all! Plus it wouldn't hurt to check.

For the amount of money and hassle it takes to do the valve seals, on an engine w/ 264k miles on it, it's just not worth it. OP is definitely better off just replacing the motor.

I've got a 7A w/approximately 120k miles on it (90k when it was put in 2 years ago), runs great, extremely well maintained, it's my DD. No major leaks at all, burns about a quart of oil every 3k miles (pretty standard for a 7a) Hoping to have it FS this summer, if you don't find anything let me know. I have NO idea how much it costs to ship a motor though, but that can be figured out pretty easily.

Dont be discouraged! I got a 7A-FE on ebay with 70k on it for only $630 shipped to my door.
You just have to look every day, took about a month to find one for my car.
And you got alot! of use out of your 7A-FE. mine lasted till 125k and was burning a quart a day frown.gif
just keep looking! smile.gif
