Hi,

I got st202 with a st205 3sgte, and I got some questions...

I want to change my clutch and I was wondering,
is there a difference in the clutch between the 2nd and 3rd Gen 3sgte ???
and what clutch you guys recomend for 400-450WHP, Im thinking of Competition Clutch stage 5???

I run the 3sge (red top beams) transmission...


Is there any aftermarket motor mount for the st202, the stock mount dont seem to hold too much abuse???

It all depends on what type of transmision you have. Check the VIN plate and see the type of transmision - it will eighter be a S54 or the LSD equiped E56 which uses the same clutch as the ST205/ST185.

as I remember I used the GT4 clutch, and the gear was LSD..

about the mounts, I have to press them in right ???

look into the Exedy multi-plate clutch for the st205 for a good twin plate clutch, or there's a good one by ACT released in.... i think it was 2005....

look through both sites, and pick something that works with your goals... i'm needing something that can run up to 500whp on FF with a highly modified '94GT running the WRC st205 3S-GTE... those are the two clutches i'm looking at right now, as i should have the engine and tranny sitting at home awaiting my return this december...

The S54 clutch will not fit the ST205 transmission buddy I tryed i wish it did

yeah it all depends on what flywheel you have, if you ahve a 3S-GTE flywheel then you need a 3S-GTE pressure plate, but the disk has to match up to the splines on the shaft of the tranny, so you might need a hybrid clutch.
