Topic #72262 7 posts Started by 6gen91
1.) was goin through the stickies and cant quite find exactly what im lookin for so i decided to quickly post here. turboin my 5s in the spring and just need a few more parts. i talked with a few guys that were selling injectors and stumbled upon a few good deals on rx7 injectors. One guy told me that his injectors were 550cc and i was like uhhh..... cuz from what ive read, i need 460cc so thats y im postin here. if anyone has a part # or year or model of which injectors i would need, that would b great. he also said he wants around $60 for them?

2.) Talked to a guy that is selling a supra fuel pump. he said its got bout 90k miles on it and runs fine. He wants $20 for it so i was like sure. havnt picked it up yet and thats y im asking for opinions before i do. is there a certain one i need? oorrr wat? is this a decent price aswell? and what should i look for as for the components it comes with and any pros or cons on the condition its in?

THANKS ALOT all my 6gc homies lol

You'll be fine on the fuel pump too.

I was at work when you texted me last night..... I think that you need to memorize that thread... Even I have to go back for reference when I start to think about a turbo. lol

IF YOU CAN MAKE IF FIT WITHOUT LEAKS then it will work. you will simply need to ensure your tune isn't lean/rich.

You are talking about the pump right D?

yeah use the 460's cause they are a direct fit. and the Supra pump will work great. thats a good price on it too.

lol, i'm talking about all of it. seriously, anything you can make fit w/o leak then you can tune accordingly. you'll just need to have some kind of piggyback or stand alone that'll work to the ranges necessary.

ok so when i was out there i woundup pickn up the fuel pump for $20. its in perfect shape, i dont see any flaws watsoever. but i was talking and asked him if he had any injectors laying around, and get this, he had 4 7mgte or w/e it is supra engines in his shop. all were turboed or what not and he had sum injectors. i asked him if they would work with the 5s and he said ya, also telling me they were 440cc or something like that. i woundup pickn up 4 really clean ones for $30. was this a waste of my 30 or a gain. like hopefully there 440cc and wasnt bull****ting me. i mean he did take it off his supra but i wanna make sure these work in my 5s, so i dont needa go out and buy rx7 460s
