'97 3SFE Celica - Raise RPM (Maybe a dumb question?) - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #72277 5 posts Started by jhaletama
Is it possible to raise the rpm ? this vehicle has no distributor it has 2 coil packs.

once this vehicle is warm it idles very very low like 400rpm, and idleing at so low it almost sounds like its missing....

with a little juice and raising the rpm to about 700-800 rpm she purrs.

again thank you so much to everyone for all your input.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
wat sensor works out the firing of the leads? if i advanced the crank pulley and left the camshafts at there timing marks would that not raise the rpm?

You can raise the rpms by tightning the throttle cable near the throttle body.

There is a little Allen head adjustment screw on the throttle stop. Look for it carefully. It's small.
