From 6 Speaker To 8 - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #72329 5 posts Started by dcwanabe
So I pulled almost perfect door pannels off of a 94 GT, and the pannels were made for the 3 speakers in the door, I also pulled the speakers that were working when I took them out. So when I removed my door pannel there were holes that look like they wanted the speaker, so everything fits and I have a 2 way crossover thingy in the door. What would be my best option for a 3 way crossover, or could I use the 2 way and put both the tweeter and midrage on the same screwplate?
am i seeing double lol, sorry can't help with an answer but you seem to have posted twice.....fyi

You're here for a good time, not a long time. - Colin McRaeWhen in doubt... My Bad. How do I get rid of one of them?
I have 8" subs in the doors that are powered by a seperate amp. Haven't found a set of 4" component speakers to replace the smaller door speaker and the tweeter.

See now that i have the 4" and the door pannel for them, it would be great to use them. DO you know of any 3 way crossover units that would workout? Or should I use a seperate amp for the sub and use the 2 way crossover for the 4" and tweeter?
