Topic #72357 17 posts Started by nintyfourcelicam...
does anyone have 19" rims on your car already...if so can you tell me what you have had to do to get them to fit...and if fender roll, spacers, camber kit, and or cutting was needed? Thanks...and pics of 19s would be great!!!! thanks again!
do not put 19's on a celica, just do not 18 is the largest i would go with our cars, you will lose your turning radius with anything that big, you will have to not only roll your fenders, most likely will need spacers, you will have to stretch your tires and you will most likely still rub, plus your gonna be stretching low pros, i personally wouldnt do it, thats just too big a rim for our cars

I agree with Tigawoods & 96stgreendemon. 19's are just too big for a Celica in my oppinion, and plus it's not practical. I have 18x9.5 on my rears, but I also had to roll my fender (a lot). It looks fantastic, and I wouldn't care for any bigger wheels. Plus, my rear wheels still rub if I carry any passengers in the back, which I rarely do. But hey, if you like the way it would look, and wouldn't mind spending the time and money on going with 19's then be my guest. I'd just have to let you know that you should look into the prices of 19 inch tires before you buy any wheels first. 19 inch tires are FREAKING expensive!

yup and you couldnt even think about dropping it at all, they are just too too big and your gonna lose gas mileage and starting speed

you do not want 19's for daily. if you do you better slam it HARD and get rims with 15+ offset wink.gif

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
Throw some DDDDs on that bitchhhhh

I went with 18's and slammed it 5", i think that Celica's look better low and and bigger than 18's make the car look way to high. but saying that its your car and go with what you like, i've found that if you like it thats what really counts!

I got 18's and dropped it an 1 1/2 inches and it looks good but regret not getting 19's. These guys just don't understand you gotta look good! I might even say that if you like 19's you might as well go with 20's. Do what you want and don't look back.

wow . teespring.com/savethemanual
i recently took my 19's off and put the stocks back on....now that i am doing a lot more moving around town...i would also agree not putting 19's on even though i had them on, and that reason is because the rims were just laying around and all i did was put them sooo, not much of an expense and also i was in high school which was only 3 miles away and work was only ~7 miles away...

i did like the way they look on my car....but mpg wise went back to stock
