What size do you go with? 14's, 15's, or thinner tire with 17's or 18's?

HONDAHoldOnNotDoneAccelerating
ideal rims:

16x8 +30offset 215/50/16
17x8 +30offset 215/45/17
17x8.5 +5 offset 205/40/17 rears: 0 offset 215/40/17

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
17-7.5 +40 offset(turrible)
with 15mm spacers in back

if you wanna race
go with like 16x8or 8.5

Are you going for looks/style? Or lightweight/functionality?

For lightweight functional wheels I would say a 16x8 all around. Any wider and you're going to start defeating the purpose. Put on a 215 or 225/50R-16 tire.

For looks and style I would suggest checking out the Flush Wheel Fitment thread.

I'd like to go for both, but I'm more of a function before fashion kind of guy. What would you recommend I go with?

How much are you looking to spend on wheels alone?

Price isn't an option. If it costs too much I'll get it eventually.

And I don't really want to go with 17's. Seems to me like I would have to go with a thinner tire to keep it from running. I'm no where near an expert but thinner tires isn't something I would want correct? Performance wise.

There are Gram Lights on Tirerack on Closeout for $59 per wheel. If I didn't already have a lightweight wheel setup I would have bought them.
