I was at the one junkyard in town the other day looking for something for a school project, and I happened to see a 6th gen in pretty good condition. I got a great deal because I told them i just wanted a lot of superfluous interior and exterior parts, and that I'd strip them myself. The item I'm happiest about though, is definitely these stock side skirts. I've been trying to get my hands on a pair for a reasonable price for a couple years. So now I get to gloat a little.

They charged me $150 for those, a gauge cluster, an AC/heater control, rear seat, carpet, and some random plastics. I couldn't complain. =]

yup, $150 for all the stuff. It's always good if you can become friends with the guys at the junkyard. Right as I was paying for my stuff, some ditzy girl walked in and asked for a rear view mirror and a seat belt, and the guy quoted her $60. I almost laughed.

Damn im going to the junk yard on Saturday, i hope i find a good deal like this too
