I blacked out the tail lights and I think it looks wicked, but I was wondering what the rest of you on here think.

Thoughts?


I've been wanting to paint the car myself. But other than an air compressor and air gun I'm not sure what all I need. I did the lights with spray paint and clear coat. Any help on how to go about painting the whole car (besides spray paint ) would be greatly appreciated as well.

I think it looks nice. blends with your license plate panel. also, cheap mod for those who don't have JDM tails. I think it fits your car very well.

Thanks a lot . Should I just spray paint the whole car? lol

EDIT: DUH! I did the license plate panel as well. Forgot to mention that part.

Build a paint booth like I am with PVC pipe plastic tarps and fans and vents, not too hard, just dint spray it outside

Uhhh well I don't think you should use spraypaint on your tails, use night shade. I think the look you got though is awesome! Very nice!

Actually no I couldn't find the night shades lol. I found a substitute but it's been so long I can't remember what it was. They work just the same though.

it looks good! the whole rear of the car appears wider for some reason too. HOWEVER....

Tinted tails lights is like asking for an accident I remember their was a thread about a guy who tinted his 6gc tail light and got into an accident the same day its on the board somewhere. I've seen cars with tinted tails around my area and driving behind one is no fun...

ive had mine for about a year or so and ive never had any problems, i got pulled over a week after i tinted them and i thought he was pulling me over for that but oh no he pulled me over for no front license made me laugh tho it really depends on how dark you tint them,

it looks pretty wicked... i did the same with mine, but like other ppl said, i think they're too dark so im gonna redo mine... how many coats did u use?

Mine are done with night shades, i like them alot, i taped off my reverse lights tho just so no one gets confused
