Well last night I was going down the road at about 55 mph... and hit a deer. I was fine I was just shaken up but my carbon fiber hood, which isnt insured, is broken, and the front bumper, passenger side fender, passenger side door, and the rear passenger side panel is messed up really bad, the windshield is broken to. Most likley the insurance wont cover it.... and I dont have enough money to pay for the repairs, so im just have to sell it as is. Ill try to get some pics up and maybe you guys could help me decide how much to sell it for.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you should look into parting it. Depends on your mileage I guess.

And if you do decide to go that route I got dibs on your strut bar, clear sidemarkers, the plastic that goes over the gauges, and the clock.

Hey, I am sorry about your car and glad you're ok. >frown.gif>

Sold my Celica....
Did you not have it insured? My insurance covers highway accidents...

Anyway really sorry to hear bojangles, stick around eh?
damn man, thats really too bad. the other day I was just admiring how far your car has come along since you first joined. makes you think how easily you can lose your ride from an animal crossing the road. >frown.gif>
man....im really sorry to hear that... >frown.gif>
I came damn close to hitting a deer the other day when i was comming home from my g/f's but thank god i didnt. Theres tons of deer collisions this time of season according to the body shop i went to yesterday, enough to book them up for 4 months straight. >rolleyes.gif> Best of luck in whatever you decide to do at this point.

By the way, if you part out your car, i call dibs on your rims if you get rid of them. >wink.gif>

dude that sucks the other day at like 8:00 at night i was just about home and i was going about 65 on this one road by my house then out of no where a deer pops out and is the middle of street i swirved and luckily it was going across the other way and not in my lane. Scared the crap out of me and i didnt want to go out again that night, you should check out the insturance thing and see if they can something about it anyways, doesnt hurt to check/cheat them. cough* cough*
I'm really sorry to hear that Chucky. >frown.gif> That's really unfortunate, but at least you're ok. Your car was coming together so nicely, and it's sad to hear that now it's probably totalled. >frown.gif>

Good luck with whatever you end up doing.

New Toyota project coming soon...
Noooo....

good to hear that you are OK. Are you sure your insurance will not cover the car? If you had collision you are covered, if not, I am not sure. Try and get some pictures up.

Did you get to keep the deer? I have had roadkill twice before and Mmmm... it's good. >tongue.gif>
Sorry to hear bro >frown.gif>
sorry to hear, at least your ok.

if you part, are your indiglo gauges alright looking at night? Who made them? And I'll take your sidemarkers.

But most importantly, damn glad you're okay. You're a good member of this community, and you had a great sixth gen. You made us AT's proud:)

The only sidemarkers/turnsignals i have on the front are the drivers side ones. The passenger side ones are destroyed >frown.gif>
hows the frame on it? is there anything seriously wrong with it mechanically? or is it all mainly cosmetic? i miss my 6gc already and my truck may die soon so i need something for winters...

Did the airbags deploy? If so, I would just part it out, thats basicly what totaled mine out.

So the insurance company will think that since the airbags deployed that the car is hit bad enough to be totalled?
how bad is the frame?

Please take that off your signature. I want to cry everytime I see it.

i am awesome
Makes you cry, how do you think I feel everyday when I come out of my house and have to see my car that I took so good care of? I just want to bawl like a baby everyday. >frown.gif>

But things are looking up, I have a lead on another car that I am going out of state to try and buy, so everyone pray that I get there before someone else buys it on my way there.I have been shafted 3 times now with buying a car and someone buys it right before I get to it.

And as soon as I get another car this one is going to be parted all the way out, or sold as a whole. But I got first dibbs on the black leather interior. You guys can fight over the GT motor, 5 speed tranny, the rear discs brakes or whatever else you guys need. >tongue.gif> >biggrin.gif>
Damn, man. Its so sad to see another one wrecked. Good luck with a new vehicle, even if it isn't a Celica. I hope the prices to get it fixed are not outrageous for you, but they more than likely will be. Its just a good thing you are not hurt.

I guess it could be worse...

im just worried about that 75% thing. I dont think the bluebook is very high for my car considering the mileage and year and everything.... and i already looked at some parts and its like over $3000 for most of the parts... thats not even including labor. and i only have liability on my insurance.
