YES! Finally got a 6th GEN TODAY!!! I am so excited, and you guys definitely underrate the power of the 5 speed gt
This thing flys and handles corners crazy! a lil over rev from 3rd goin to 4th is a huge jump in MPH

Coming back from cleveland my stepdad got it from 80-120 in 5th gear like it was nothin, and he also said he felt more gas to be pressed

I got a 96' GT 5 Speed, Black nice as hell paint is awesome no rust on body what so ever, we just built a custom cai and fit it in in like 20 minutes definitely gave an awesome woosh when in neutral i am already in love

It has 136k miles drove it for 4.5 hours back home it is in great shape im so excited!

Just stock this thing is quick as **** ill for sure burn my friends cars and they have a lil bit of performance done

I will post pics as soon as my mom gets off work she has the camera, I cant wait to discuss mods with you guys ive been reading this site and been learning for a few monthes and i finally got one!!!!!!

I never posted pic's of my car so i finally got one, this pic was takin 1.5 weeks ago and 5 days ago my aunt back into my car and dented front bumper so... gt4 bumper coming soon!


Here is a pic of my car it is at 148k miles which is alot since i first got it not too long ago
Changed timing belt /w help of step dad
Replaced oil pump cover seal ( iad an oil leak but i dont think this was the only one in that area)
Installed headers over febuary
NGK spark plugs stock wires

So i had custom sri i made and after a lil while i felt like the air it was breathing was too hot and started to hiss a little bit, put stock back on.
I am still waiting to find ebay 2.5" 90-93 accord S pipe and L pipe so i can set up an actually cold air intake
This spring i am saving up for sound system and 2.25 in resonator and piping from header to canister 4" outlet iwth 1.5" silencer no cats

what did you drive before the gt, an auto st? im just curious because the gt isn't really "fast" at all compared to most cars. not trying to rain on your parade, because it's a beautiful car that handles well - but "flying"? i went from the celi to a 200hp car and i thought that was flying. the one i have now is at 330+ and i swear it flys, but others might not think so. i think i just went in circles with what i was trying to say... so nevermind. enjoy the car!

throw in a 3s and have a field day

Compared to a geo metro a gt is going to be a race car but when compared to a Bugatti Veyron it is slow. You put a bit of miles on the car for like a year of ownership. I like that you do the work and don't take it to a shop!
