Do you really need a 3 jaw puller to pull the crank shaft pully off ?? I have a 2 jaw puller and its just not budging at all...

you should otherwise u might warp on pulley...it will disperse the force evenly across....try throwing a torch on it for a few mins and see what that does..not too much you don't wanna toast the crank seal
I might try that timing gear puller looks safer according to some mechs the jaw can damage the pully.
