now that you guys are on the topic of awd and tc. Im sure all of you are well aware of rwd tc's in drifting competitions. some fitted with nascar engines while others with 5th gen 3S-GE's.
I went to redline time attack this past sunday and I was talking to some random guy. the tc they are currently racing in redline time attack is an ff scion tc with 1000 hp with 700 lb ft torque. He was tellig me that in 30 days they are going to Australia to build an awd tc to compete with lancer and wrx's for the awd title. they plan on spending half a million for the project and will reveal the car within a week. it will use porshe carrera rwd differntials and set up. you can read other forums about the rumors and what not. but we will be seeing an awd within the next month!

why is scion so focused on the damn looks and not how fast it goes! I agree with some of you guys... FAIL. looks like a damn civic/kia/accord and teh sides immediately reminded me of a dodge... but ultimately no power = FAIL FAIL FAIL!

I like the look of the TC, however I will never drive one. Typically you only see two types of people drive the TC, the hot females and the meatgazers... Kinda like the Miata, a bad ass car for the track or togue, but not something you want to be caught dead driving on a daily.

That's no longer a scion tc.. It is a Scion TC chassis.. Go buy one and try do that, it is all publicity/sales/promotion, as they use the New car chassis of today. Anyone could take a Solara for that matter and do the same.
