Hey! i am looking to prep my car for a repaint soon and i was wondering if its possible to remove the the side window trim trim without breaking it. Is there a special tool or do I just pry it off? Maybe i have to budget $300 for new trim? Thanks guys

The rear windows or the door window trim? Door window trim comes off pretty easily, rear window trim, I dont know, havent done it, but do need to replace mine one day.

yeah, looking to do the trim around the rear quater window and the door trim. i want to do a color change and want to do a clean job. that rear window looks like its quite hard.

I need to redo around that area also, because I missed a small spot. It was a difficult shape to mask off. I would also like to know how to remove them.

looks like there are 3 metal clips in each corner holding it in? as for glue, maybe tiny bits of silicone to keep water out?
