Hello, welcome to the site! And congrats on picking a 6GC!

After doing a quick search here's what I've come up with

15"

(Konig), VieT9sD's car

16"

(Enkei RP-F1), Ronan's car

17"

(ROTA Sub-Zero), yours truly's car

18"

(Lenso DC6),Doddzie's car

Most people on here (including me) would highly recommend 17" wheels, but you can pick whatever style you like.

And next time you want to see what a specific mod looks like, go HERE and type whatever you want in the "modifications" thing and hit 'Search Members Rides'.

Good luck, and post pics when you get some!

@OP: Depends on the color of your car and what YOU think looks nice. Most of us here will tell you though, that 18s do not look good on a celica - also, we'll tell you to go lower, until you finally do it biggrin.gif

Personally, if you want to keep the acceleration properties of steelies, I would go with 16" - at 17", you start getting into heavier wheels that will slow you down.

You have a tan celica? I didn't know they came in that color. Tan/gold, I would go with a neutral colored wheel - no colored lips, but definitely either silver, black - or you could be the first to go "blinged out" (my play on murdered out) and go gold on gold.

Gold rims, check out Johnnehh's car. Couple others I would recommend are HP Lite Ocho Hyper Black or looking through Konig's website. I know somebody here recently put illusions on their car - they're red in the sunlight, black in the dark.
Mine look pretty nice. Dirt cheap too. Info on my profile.
i dig 16" and 17" rims...

volk 17's.

"she can polish my strut bar anytime As long as her blow-off valve's in good order"
I got my Scion 17"s for $225 all together. Theyre a decent rim for cheap. Theres a few members that have them, as well.
Here is a pic of my car when I first picked her up. The rims are 16" OZ cronos.

I have 18's and have dropped the car 1.5 inches and still think 19s is the way to go. But to each his own.

wow . teespring.com/savethemanual
or you could go with 7th gen celica rims like i have, look in my profile

I love my 18's but i dont see any reason why one size is better than another unless your car is going to be performance driven. Was going to lower mine but as you can see above my driveway is not too forgiving..even at its current ride hide (stock) my front bumper has been ground away a little from coming in too quick.
I have 17 rota gForce wheels in gold! The tires are 215/45ZR17 with a 1.75' drop on all fours. check out my profile for pics...
