Ok well the car is up and running but its smoking like a train and i mean its smoking bad and seems to be using oil but my friend says that becasue the new pistons i put in the rings have to set in them.......is that the truth? and how long will it take you think?

i would have that care checked out if i was you.. cause something is wrong... when you change the pistions and rings and all the seals....you should not be somking..

Pistons ring need to work out for some time about 500 - 1000 miles. For the full engine work out i recomend you about 3000 miles not overrating 4k rpm. And again, think about OIL catch can...
