ksport coilover issue... - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #73858 6 posts Started by garin
my front left side coil is acting weird. when i turn the car, or go over a bump i here a clicking, or thud. i determined that the problem is that the spring is not stopping. it just rotates freely in the assembly. the rings are snug against the spring. when i go to lower the car only the top part of the coil moves (shock included in the movement).

my question is how so i get the spring to settle to allow the whole coil to be adjusted and to stop moving when i drive?...

that doesn't sound like a coilover

my explanation sucks confused.gif lol i think i started to figure out my issues though. i took it apart. i need to get the part loose that connects to the hub. it is rusted on, or something. i am currently soaking it in pb blaster and i am debating to touch it... not sure if that is a good idea.
