I'm looking to pull my 5s and swap in another. I'm curious to know if its hard to do with me and 2 other friends. My car has been down now for about 2 months and i need my transportation back. 've searched EVERY salvage yard/junk yard trying to find one to rebuild and i can't find one anywhere. I've found one and they wanted 1400 for it and thats just ridiculous. So long story short im wondering how difficult it is to do and how long it would take. And if anyone knows of a website i can get one off for a good price pleace point me in the right direction.


P.S. I'm saving for the 3s down the road because the guy who i was getting the BEAMs from backed out so im just going to go for the 3s down the road i just need a DD for work and other things.

also, Any questions, PICS required, Or VID of it happening (in full HD ) i got it. there is about 3hrs of footage to fondle threw- but we had a member document it all for an occasion such as this.

i forgot the 5s came in the Camry too so im going tmo to look for one in a Camry im so dumb lol. But i appreciate those pics im looking at all of them right now.

If i can find one im ordering the rebuild kit tmo for sure and ill have my car back hopefully in the next 2 weeks.

Yea i have no idea why i didnt check the Camry's theres so many of those around here in junkyards. Ive only seen 1 MR2 and its just the body lol. I appreciate this no idea why i didnt think of it 2 months ago.

I live in Shreveport, right off the 220 interstate. I went to Dallas 2 weeks ago and it took about 2 hours to get there.

5 hours and by myself.

I found ONE car with a 5s and it wasnt even worth pulling and i found another at a different salvage yard thats in a car there selling so i have to check back in a few days, they said if it doesnt sell its going in the yard.
