Looking around, I know we've got a lot of sweet celi's on this site. I was thinking it would be cool to do a photo-comilation CD with a photo/profile for a whole bunch of different celica's. I could sell copy's of the CD so people could use pictures of some of the sweet cars on this site for wallpaper, or for screen savers, or just to have to show some of our honda friends (enemies?) that toyotas kick a$$!

On the CD there would be a picture of each car, and a text file also that told who the owner of the car was, what kind of stuff was done to the car, and anything else they wanted to put on there.

There would be no cost in having your car on, only a couple of bucks if you wanted a copy. I guess that we could fit about 300 profiles/pictures on a cd.

If I get at least 50 people to respond to this, I will make the CD, so...

If you want on, send an email to me alden@cedar-creek.com with the following.
1. A high-res photo of your car (no bikini-clad chicks, just the car)
2. Your 6gc.net SN so I can get a profile of your car, or if you don't have mods listed on your 6gc.net profile, a list of your mods.
3. Let me know if you want your name and or email included in the profile.
4. In the subject line of the email, include "Attn: Celica"
5. Formats preffered: .jpg, .tiff, or photoshop.


As soon as I get 50 cars, I'll put the CD together, and post to the group, and if anyone wants to buy a copy ($2 or so, enough to cover shipping and CD cost) of it at that point, it will be cool.

So: Let me know if you want in on this, you're car doens't have to be anything too special. I'm going to be putting mine on, and check out my profile, I haven't done hardly anything to it.

So if people want to have their car on the CD, they have to send the information and photo to you, right?

Are you going to setup a flash program or anything so that people can quickly browse through the rides and so that everything is presented in a really cool form and stuff? >>

I don't really know flash well enough to do that I think. If someone knows it, that would be cool. I was just planning on doing a html file to display them with, but if anyone else knows flash, we could do that.

not a bad idea..but most of us on here know how to use photoshop...and for those who don't usually ask ppl who know how to do something for them

I think most of us know how to burn pictures to a CD, and CD-r's these days cost around $0.20.... The flash setup would be the only reason to get a cd like this.

I want some friggin 6th gen vids...

I think that most of us probably have a decent amount of skill to be able to get our cars on on computers, but I just thought it would be cool to have a collection of lots of different celicas on a CD.

I could put videos on there too, if anyone has any...

i already have a cd of over 2k pictures of celicas on it's every time i happen to come across a pic of a celi i have it to a CD-RW..

Sounds like a good idea, thougha big selling point would definetley be if it had vids on it. (inlucing the Rod Millen Celi >>)
