I just don't know what is going on? Are they tired? Too much pressure? Or is it that the foreign players they have around them in their teams make them look better than they are?

It's actually made me sad watching that frown.gif


I have no idea if they can come back from that shower of ****......they are playing like its the first time they have played together. I bet we could get a better team together from people from 6GC. They wasted every chance and should be ashamed at their performance.

yep. But they hardly created anything.... i literally cannot believe the amount of times they just gave the ball away, or just didn't look interested.... It's as if they had just ran about 10 miles before the match....

I thought for a bit it might have been an altitude thing.... but the match was played at sea level.... It's just so disappointing. Did you see Rooney spouting off as he left the pitch, about the fans, that they were booing....

Of course they were booing! I'm considering going down to Heathrow to boo them off the plane! rolleyes.gif

yep, it's all gone so very very wrong. Unless there is some magnificent turnaround that is....

It's true most teams have looked poor for some reason or another.... It's hard to even pinpoint what the problem is!?

I almost feel like it should've been 2-0 because toward the end, we had two extremely good chances, but a win is a win and I'm not complaining.

i agree! from the vuzuuelas to the soccer ball complaints to french coaches getting cursed out by their own players, there is DEFINATELY somethin weird in the air about this years world cup... cant put my finger on it (other than the usa not gettin their asses kicked)

i can only say it may be that is sort of like drifting US has caught up to japan and surpassed in talent, and sort of like basketball the entire world got better so its an almost even playing field i guess?

Awesome. Another fukcing game ruined by retarded officials. Behrami's foul was accidental and he gets sent off. 10 players, fine. We can deal. But lo and motherfukcing behold, Fernandez shoves Inler in the ****ing neck ON PURPOSE and he only gets yellow. Way to be fair, dickweed. I hope you spontaneously combust.

^ The only time that they really messed up. Benaglio could've diverted that ball (and prevented the goal) by sticking his arms up, but he's done enough so I don't really blame him. Derdiyok, on the other hand, should've hit that ball up and over the goalie, not right into his arms. Sh!t happens though. We played well enough with 10 guys, can't say too much when half the game was run by biased ref.

ok... are there any frenchmen reading this thread? i promise not to make fun.... i just want to ask WHAT THE HELL IS GOIN ON?!?! wow... that coach has no class and those players forget what a privelege it is to be on the world stage doing something they love since children! that whole organization should be embarrassed... its bad when the french even started cheering for south africa! (bless their hearts)

^ Two games killed so far by refs. The first USA game, which was a bummer. The second game was the Swiss game on monday, I thought I was going to sh!t an elephant I was so pissed.

We werent allowed to stop and watch the England game today, though our dealer principal did decide that he was feeling unwell just before kick off and he had to go home. We checked the cctv logs to find that he had logged in from home and was checking what people were doing during the match...
