gonna state BRIEFLY why Ive stayed away from this thread.
my two teams Nigeria and England.
Both teams should be ashamed of their performances, just pitiful. I really wish I had no affiliation with either country.. spend all the time and energy to make the qualifiers.. and then come to the world cup and play like idiots. My only post in this thread. Good day.

Okay, few thoughts. Once again, refeering has influenced another game and I HATE that. Luke, I agree with you...it was in by a good meter. Now, the main ref could've been visually blocked from the ball, in which case his call isn't really valid, and the lineman could've been blocked by the right post...either way, it was in, but I kind of agree with the thinking that if they're in doubt, they shouldn't count the goal. Tough luck, really sucks, but that kind of thing happens...although to a much more serious degree in this cup.

From those bloody annoying vuvuzelas, the dull games, ridiculous ball that nobody can control, the lack of good goals, the constant stream of ridiculous referees decisions, to the pathetic diving, play acting and trying to get players sent off from many of the players.

yea Germany is the best all around team. Such great strategic play, they just wear down the other team. Their defence wall is unbreakable. Brazil would've definitely lost to them had they played each other.
Saddest moment so far has to be Ghana losing yesterday. They deserved the win to at least make it to the quarter finals.

What the ****, that was a truckload of crap. Spain kept falling to the ground all game long especially Iniesta and even without contact! Then that bastard makes the goal, and is a hero?!
Thats exactly why I dont like Spains, Portugals and their old colonials (south-america) football, its fake.

Yarly...nothing remarkable about the Cup really. I'm sad we lost, would've been great to see van Bronckhorst pull some magical **** (like the shot in the half final), but alas it didn't happen.
