Installing coilovers - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #74726 5 posts Started by HectortheRican
I know that there's a how-to, I've read it several times, but it talks about grinsing something and saving bearings, but when he was talking about coilovers, the pictures showed the same springs. I was wondering that since I'll be putting on the Megan Racing coilovers, I'll have to do any of that, since the Megans seem to be quite complete and I wouldn't be using anything from my stock strut assembly. The how-to also talks about greasing the top cap, would I have to as well? I'm just curious

installing coilovers is purely plug and play. remove the stock, and install the new. the only difficult part is setting the ride height. that can be alot of wheel on and off making small adjustments.

Oh I'm aware. I'm dedicating a whole day to purely adjust the height, then I'll take it for alignment when I'm happy with it. Then it's damper settings! I love this stuff haha
