gt four hood bad? - 6G Celicas Forums

i am thinking about putting a gt 4 hood on my 5sfe, is there any risk like temp diff.. ect? any have any ideas

doubt it since a lot of people have a 4 front end( and no 3s underneath) and have never seen any problem
well, i talked to someone who wrecked there radiator, b/c of the tep changes.

^ More likely because their radiator was shot, or dying, to begin with.

haha if anything it will help.. the vents will keep the engine cooler. cracked radiators are common on our cars.. has nothing to do with the hood.

you are going to need the GT-4 bumper too or modify your stock support, otherwise you will have the ugly GAP!!!!

you need a GT4 front bumper as well as the hood, along with the RHD hood latch or you will run into problems.

you need a GT4 front bumper as well as the hood, along with the RHD hood latch or you will run into problems.

you dont want the RHD latch. the cable exits on the wrong side.
you want the LHD hood latch, or modify your existing latch by extending it 1".

ok but i dont want to get rid of the bumper that i have. what do i do

^^i have the stock bumper with the st205 hood. i'm ok with the 1" gap.

God made man....Everything else...Made in China
the gap is very Marmite, some people like it others hate it, always wondered if anyone has ever put knight rider lights in it hahaha
does anyone have a pic of this gap?
