Replaced some nasty-looking spark plugs with NGK G-Powers. Took me forever to adjust the gap on them...
Next on my tune-up list: Radiator flush and seafoam before next oil change.

Looks great, Hector! I'm kinda tempted to pick up some of those brass bushings myself... Except I kinda don't have a transmission in the car to put them on. Keep up the good work.

i wouldnt.
its a waste of 13$.
the brass bushings do not allow proper movment of the pivot arm, and can cause binding, and notchier shifting.
if they DO help, its cause your OEM bushings are worn.
if you want to actually upgrade from the OEM bushings, get spherical bushings available thru hux racing.

I just did a quick search and I can't get onto the website. It says there's an error...

Feliz cumpleaños Hector. Many happy years to enjoy your car.
Just bought $300 worth of stuff, a few people know what but I'll keep it on the DL until I get my hands on them. I'm quite excited for this biggrin.gif

My sway bar isn't painted... I think you're talking about my GT strut bar. I just used bright red caliper paint that I found at O'Rielly's, nothing super special lol

yea lol still learning but hey man it looks clean. thanks for the info!!
Just got these babies in today thanks to AMCMoe

I'll be installing them on Saturday along with the Racing Beat Miata endlinks I've had since June '10. (I thought I'd have coilovers by that August, but Megan Racing is utterly retarded, so no.)

And depending on whether I have too much negative camber in the rear (Which I strongly doubt), I'll also install a set of Eibach adjustable camber bolts.

Needless to say, I'm fcuking excited. My struts are so blown, I can feel a leaf when I run over it laugh.gif laugh.gif
But seriously, I'm 99% certain that they're the OEM struts/springs it rolled out of the factory with on 1995.

That was fast! Enjoy. Your rear camber will be fine - any alignment place will be able to get it within factory spec, or you can have a place do a more custom alignment for you if you want. I had Twos R Us endlinks, those Racing Beats look nice.
Man I wanted to buy those from amc moe!!! Ahhh. Lucky.
I've had Sportlines, and the TRD's are just rebranded Sportlines. You won't need the camber bolts, but you'll definitely enjoy having the new setup. Looks good thumbsup.gif

Good to know, I'll just keep the bolts in reserve for a bit longer lol.

I think I'm gonna replace the swap bar bushings with a pair of SuperPro 16mm PU bushings I have in reserve as well.

Eibach was contracted to produce the springs for TRD, however they are relabeled Pro-Kit springs with the 1" drop instead of the 1.5" Sportline drop. I've had Sportlines with KYB's as well, and they were a bit stiffer than these TRD's/KYB's. Both are great setups!
Crap, you finally lowering?! Seeing those endlinks makes me want to go out and get some.

Yeah man.... FINALLY biggrin.gif
They sure look beefy, don't they? About $60 a pair, not a bad buy at all. Considering that the Moog endlinks for are Celicas sold at O'Rielly's are about $65 EACH.

Shut up Jon xD

Well, update. I got the fronts on with no problems whatsoever. But when it came to the rears, the endlinks were so horribly rusted on that they got the better of me. With no torch or dremel, I had to give up. As much as I'd love to do it myself, I just don't have the right tools, so I'm taking it to Pep Boys tomorrow to get the rear struts and the Miata endlinks installed. Sad day frown.gif

Ah, those rear end links... They get the best of most of us. I find that stringing a series of curse words together in an angry fashion is most beneficial. Then an Allen wrench solves everything.

Get PB blaster, soak that mothersucker. All over. More baby, more.

...uhh...

...no, wait. But get the PB blaster and soak it, then use a breaker with along with your tool of choice. Mine came off that way.
