Question on the Turn Signals - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #75564 6 posts Started by mkernz22
I'm looking to take the orange piece out of my clear turn signals on my front bumper.
I've been trying to take of the clear lens that attaches to the housing with flat head screw drivers, but it clearly isn't working haha
I noticed that it is held on by some sort of adhesive.
My question is, do you have to heat it up a little bit in order to get the clear plastic lens off?
yep

im guessing in the oven?
if so, what temperature and how long?
And what type of adhesive to reseal it?

id say a heat gun, or a hair dryer... or maybe a razor blade smile.gif... we have diff turns but mine come apart with a flat head, they had a little adhesive, but i just pried it apart

Oven, round 200 or so, with the door open and on a sheet of some kind. I did this with my old tails and it worked fine. Just keep an eye on them!
look in stickies.
