Sept 18th DWG meet / cruise - 6G Celicas Forums

we haven't done this in some time, I think we should start this up again, this is the first time I try to organize this so be patient lol.


nnot much to this, I'll post an exact meet spot, and time ( aiming for 2 PM ) the usual meet and greet, then we'll go for a cruise along Old Mine Road

after the cruise we'll stop for food and hang out.


date Sept 18th
place Delaware water gap New Jersey side ( actual meeting addresss will be posted once I decide on a few options I have right now )
time : 2 Pm

Anyone is welcome to come, we wanna see as many celicas as possible but if for some reason the celica can't make it ride a bicicle, scooter, anything.

I will probably make a weekend of it. I will be staying over Saturday night, then hitting the local 1/4 mile race track on Sunday It is only a couple minutes from where we will be meeting for the meet.

I'm trying to see if my wife gets the days off for this weekend, if she does we'll be camping near DWG at Camp Taylor if anyone else is interested, be my guest

this campground is at 3.2 miles from the park.

and Jim, I just checked and island dragway is closed that weekend kindasad.gif

And yes, I will be camping also. Me, Shannon, Joe, Patrick, Caitlin, Brian, etc will all be camping. I will bring the beer.

Freedy tell your GF she's more than welcome to come, there are other girls coming so she won't be the only one, and the meet is to hang out, not to take cars apart and learn about mechanics lol.

We compare and discuss each other setups and plans but mainly we have fun, food, drinks, music all that good stuff.

sorry guys, I've been busy having fun over the weekend and didn't updated this thread.

on Saturday we will get together at 2 pm at the following coordenates

40.971828,-75.125684

copy those numbers and check the location on Google maps, is a rest stop on route 80 right before Old mine road. it's big enough to host everyone and more.

as far as camping, I'm open to suggestions from other members as the camp taylor would not work out.

suggestions for camping ?

I looked for more private areas to get together but they are either private ( need to pay to get in ) or too small.

most of you have my number, but if you don't, PM me and I'll send it to you.

i'll work on camping...just a few things..its prob gonna be cold at night so be ready for that...second who is all down for camping? Just trying to get a head count...also last year we went to camp charles so i can call them up the site was away from anyone so we could be a little loud and not really bother anyone..only problem is the roads to the campsite are really rocky and last year i lost my exhaust although my car is low...what do u guys think anyone object to this place?

I didnt wanna be the one who propuse that place lol, but I'm all for it, the place was great, nice pool, away from people and really quiet, we'll just have to drive super carefull, that's all.


and of course, I'm camping and most likely will come with someone.
Holi can't make it unfortunately.

last time i believe the place let each person pay when they got there so the number of people isnt as important..jims calling now and ill update you guys
