Quick question does anyone know what countries had left hand drive gt4s made? I know they gt4s are mostly rhd but from what I've heard there were also a few lhd's made.

continental european countries got them. they're about three times the cost of a rhd gt4 and from what i've read, either most lhd gt4's were sold in italy or they're easier to find for sale in italy compared to other neighboring countries.

well even three times the cost of the rhd gt4s would be cheaper than importing a rhd because of having to put a second one through dot

LHD Celica For Sale

Found one smile.gif well from what I've been told if you can find a lhd celica gt4 and its 95 or 94 you wont have to through dot or have to worry about paying insane fees to have it legal here. So you could technically buy this gt4 have it imported and since its lhd you could license it legally.

i would kill to own that car here.

It IS possiable, and i was reading a lot about it. Have the funds and paper work done before you even attempt it and it will be a breeze. but i mean EVERYTHING has to be legit, titles, vins, all sorts of other paper work, custom fee's, and then an extra G to cover anything else that pops up plus the pice of the car. what's great is that canada's currency is $500 more then ours. So you can grab a 96 Mr2 with around 110k on it for $7500

9500 its imported, leagal, and ready for resale is desired

your DOT has paper work on it, just do your research wink.gif

see the issue with the rhds if you look on my other post is that you need to prove that the rhds are crash worth just like the normal celicas here, now with the lhd there is no issue and you can legally title and drive one here in the states.
