I'd talk to Mike about the harness (Qatar). Probably axles, a new fuel pump (in tank), hrm.... There's lots more, but at the moment i cant think of it!!!! Talk to John (Mynzeyes), or head over to club4ag and ask some '?'s there. You can ask me, but i dont know Jack....... so yea..... I'm sure some1 else will post on this soon and help you out a bit more. Just so you know no one has successfully completed the 4agze swap into a 6gc. Tho it is very feasible, and applicable. So far John (Mynzeyes) is the furthest along with the swap, with the engine in and mounted, but he is having trouble getting it to start / run. (Electrical / harness problems). I know John needed to have his axles shortened and stuff to fit the proper length, so you'll probably need to do that too.
As for me, we havent even started yet. My mechanic doesnt want to pull the engine till we have a working harness. Which i'm waiting for Mike to finish up on. I am just going to use to the tranny out of a manual celi to make things easier (my engine & tranny didnt come w/ axles? (actually what did come w/ it was cut in half so wtf?)). That way i can use the stock axles from a celi, and my mechanic is pretty sure that the tranny & axles can take the power, i can always have stuff reinforced / strengthened.
So um yea, thats all i can think of for now. If you have specific ?'s just post em.

what model 4agze are you looking for btw?

I have an ae101 (1993)

as of now i am just looking into it i have found several st's that would work for pretty cheap , and i rather have a gt but to coslty and would rather have 4agze so for the price of the gt with low miles i can esly have the st with the 4agze plus the other stuff , cause dont wanna buy a car anot have money to spend on extras, thanks for the help
I was running a 4AGZE in my ST for almost a month.

I've upgraded the Supercharger, Tuned the boost with an Overdrive Pulley (only got to 11PSI), Custom Intake, Custom 2.5" Exhaust, Tuned A/F Ration to perfection (we think at least) and that was pretty much it except for some other little minor modifications needed to run. Your lucky to be pushing 210HP/Crank with all that modification, and theres nothing really left to do. Your better off just Turboing the 4AGZE and making it a 4AGTE, you can run around 12-14PSI on that engine daily driver which is more HP/Crank than Supercharged, and you have more room for modification then too in the future.

Therefore, me being unhappy, i sold the swapped ST, bought a new ST (w/80k miles), and am now working on a Turbo Setup w/some help from some local board people. I'm going to haul-ass around town at 5-7PSI for a bit, fix some of the minor body damage and then begin to slowly rebuild the engine hopefully by the end of this winter.

Oops. Guess I made a boo-boo. I'm such a liar >wink.gif>

Actually, I attempted to buy an s2000 and an Eclipse GSX awhile back. Sadly I couldn't get anyone to buy my Celica for a reasonable price and then I went ahead later and bought my 4A Clip. The Clip sat at my mechanics garage for a month or two heading no where since I didn't have the money yet to pay for it going in. Finally I had the money and purchased an Intercooler, custom piping, OD Pulley, Intake etc... but still the 4A didn't get installed. Once again I attempted to sell my Celica, looking promising someone also wanted the 4A, well neither of those fell through so I said screw it and had it dropped in. Had the car running with it for 2-4 weeks with a 4A then it got sold. I now have a new '96 ST w/about 96,000 miles that i'm going to begin to Turbo.

The Integra has been sold off quite awhile now (as its not in my signature).

Nice try though fellas. >smile.gif>

uh.. yea anyways.
jason, do you have any pictures of your setup in the GZE Celi? or your new celi? cause you still got your old pics in your profile. and how was 200+ instant supercharged hp w/ LSD not good...? that makes no sense at all.

I offered to show you those pics awhile ago John, but I dont have them anymore. The new Celica I don't have any yet either, its silver and everything is stock, except the interior pieces are a little scratched up (why I posted a WTB in the buying/selling section).

The same sound system from my old car is going into this Celica, but the rims and all went with the old Celica since they were pretty beat and worn in.

Umm.. the GZE with 200HP? Screw that. I still got it handed to me by a RSX Type S with my supposid "instant 200HP". Biggest waste of 4,000$+ in my life, hard lesson learned. Was trying to sell that Celica before the swap, but most people didnt want to deal with something so slow for my loan-payoff price, I made about 1,500$ back. Oh, and to add: I raced a GTS with the swap, i believe it was the last day I had the car and I barely beat a stock GTS by almost my whole car, was very disappointing.

Why does this board attract so many compulsive liars?

Yea, my digital dog ate them, his name was Ray. >wink.gif>

So i'm a liar because I don't have a billion pictures of the car? I've had 4 pictures of the Celica while I had it for over a year, those are the only 4 pictures, i'm not to worried about getting pictures, believe me or not, the swap was done, whether you've seen pictures or not, I put over 4,000$ into somewhere, and i'm pretty sure it wasn't to buy a crate of fresh oxygen.

Eh, well either way I don't have the Celica with the swap anymore, so past is past. Again, i'm not too worried if i'm believed, it was a waste of money. To those looking into the swap, its worthless, if you think i'm lieing, waste your own money to prove my point. The Celica I just bought is going Turbo. >wink.gif>

End of story.
good job boys.

The ratio of compulsive liars to the abundance of idiots seems pretty equal.
