Last week-end we went to a local race track, an oval about 1 mile long and look what we've see there (sorry for the cell-phone quality pictures):

Becuz race regulations, engine hp must not exceed 120hp, so the engine is a 115hp 3S-FE taken in an old Camry 87 ~ 91.

The car qualified 1st and finished second in it's class, behind a Chevy Cavalier due to yellow flag situations frown.gif
nice find

from the 3S engine wiki there was no 3S-FE in the camry 87-91, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_S_engine but that same wiki list the ST202 SS-I as years 87-90 laugh.gif although the SS-I 6th Gen had the 3S-FE but that was 136 bhp
And in the same wiki page you can read this:

-Wiki+
QUOTE (Wiki)
The Toyota 3S-FE is a 16 valve 2.0 L twin camshaft, single cam gear engine built by Toyota from 1986 to 2000. It is commonly used in the Toyota Camry 1987–1992 model

silly wiki confusing itself laugh.gif
To be truly honest, I'm not sure it's a 3S-FE. The driver told me the engine was a 2.0l taken in a 1991 Camry and I assumed it was, but all this wiki things put some doubt in my mind about the engine.

the camry wiki is even more confusing said the 3S-FC (3S with a carb) 110bhp and the 3S-FE was 118bhp, maybe it was a 3S-FE but has lost a few bhp's from age
off topic, i like who they use a bus as a car trailer,
