if you just turn the key all the way to the left (with the ebrake down since you have a turbo timer) that should work pretty well...

ohh i c ....i just read that the hks turbo timer that i have has a kill switch function....but how do i activate it? because even if i had the ebrake in down position it still turned on when i pressed the clutch and brake.
I was wondering this too, any one who has ever replaced their fuel pump know which wire is the power?

QUOTEwhat hes saying is if you put blue lights in you car youll lose hp.
this is just a thought, but get a meter, unplug the wiring from the pump and touch it to each one and it'll tell you which one has power
This is for a ST model, but it might be the same for the GT.
Right next to the ECU there is a Circuit Opening Relay ( COR). Its a pretty big relay with 5 wires. I don't have a repair manual anymore so I can't tell you what wire it is. But this is how it works-

12V from Fuse in Engine bay,
2 wires for ground, usually W/B or W.
12V from ECU. Tells the relay to turn on the fuel pump.
1 wire to Switch Fuel pump on.

If you have the wiring diagram you can pin point the COR for that wire and solder in a kill switch.
I just downloaded the service manual for our 6gcelicas and i was looking through the wiring diagrams. I think its a black and blue wire is the power because when looking at the diagram, the only wire that was showing connected to the fuel pump is a black and blue wire. The only problem is that I dont have any of the tools to check if its the power. If anyone can confirm this for me that would be great.

One way to make sure is to check the wires going into the fuel pump. You can do this by lifting up the carpet behind your back seat.
