Hey everyone, I haven't been on in a while. But I just wanted to let everyone in on the news.
After painfull waiting and money well spent I finally got my celica to the states from Okinawa Japan.
It was pretty expencive but well worth it. the total cost to ship her back was 13,500 USD. Most of you are thinking thats alot of money. But Spending the money envolved the fallowing processes that I would not have to do:
-Engine removal
-shipping
-engine replacement
-title
-regiesteration
Nothing had to bee changed out for safety requirements. Everything is still original. Right now she is in VA I have to pick her up in October once the whole process is complete. For more info just shoot an email to realizeltd@gmail.com they are the company that helped me out.

Is it a GT4 ? I might consider paying that for a GT4 lol. You must really love that car if it isnt.
Nah, its not a gt4 is just a regular celica. My goal was to bring bac a rhd celica didnt matter wut kind. Butonce everything is completed Im putting a 3sgte in.

I admire your dedication but... but... you could have traveled to canada, bought one landed for 6000 dollars, hopped it over the border, done some soul searching and all for less than what you paid for. But if you like your car that much then I guess to each is own.

Good to see you back online after all this time. And that's some dedication to get your car back here when you could have bought a shell here and built it for less than what it cost to get that one here. Gotta love it

how long was the process and on a 1 to 5 scale 5 being the best how did the company do on their importing job? Also did they take car of shipping the car or were they just the ones to legalize the car in the usa.

Honestly I'd say 5 being the worst because the time line is so long. I started dis project last year. Contracts signed and everything. And it just got sent in May and still not all the way completed yet. But yeah it was well worth it. Main reason is if I decide to sell it after appraisal it can sell for 26 to 35,000 USD. For one it is in ment condition and its an import and i mean and Import. But will I get that much more than likely no. So then I will just pass it down to my children. I cherish this car because its the first car I built from stock.
