FS: 5sfe partout - 6G Celicas Forums

I threw a rod and will be parting out my 5sfe to save up for a 3s swap. I'm going to start taking it apart so let me know what you need. I'll post pics if requested. Please post in this thread or pm me for inquiries, prices, offers or anything else. Thanks

I saw you're from Chicago and wanted to say dang that sucks frown.gif Just curious though, how are you gonna pass emissions with a 3S swap? I REALLY want to do a BEAMS into my 97 but you know as well as I do Illinois emission laws are strict.

I'm from Colorado. My plates are registered there in an area that doesnt require emissions. I may renew my plates in Colorado so I dont have to jump through the emissions loop holes. I do car audio out of a mechanic shop up here that we partnered with. They said that they could make it pass emissions if i need it to. If you are ever in the city come stop by and say whats up. 4430 w Lawrence ave.

would you be selling the header? (excuse my ignorance for i dont know if it fits on the 3s engine.) if you are, i may be interested. also the intake.

Hahahahahahaha silly northerners..... There's no such thing as emissions testing or inspections or any of that BS once you get away from Chicago. Just go get your car registered in Springfield or somewhere south.

What's your offer? It wont fit on a 3s.

you're located on lawrence? not kaotic customs are you? lol

Interested in the crankshaft. whenever you tear it all down, id like to see if it is damaged beyond repair. thanks!

Kaotic customs is down the street on Lawrence and California. The company I work for partnered up with a mechanic shop. I do sounds out of Lawrence Auto Werks by Lawrence and Elston.

interesting sodo, next time i go down lawrence i might have to stop by.. i pick up some whole sale products down i that area.

Got the sri, intake manifold, valve cover and header off if anybody wants them. I'll have more of the engine taken apart this week. Pm for pricing or questions.

The intake manifold, valve cover, cam gears, timing belt, and alternator are available. Is there something else that you are looking for?

does the valve cover fit for my 1994 celica gt? looks alot different that mine. I got a 2200 logo on the top part.

It should if its a 5sfe. Take a pic of yours. I can post a better pic of the valve cover tomorrow.

The SRI does sound great. The header + SRI will make it sound even better than just the SRI. Let me know if you have any questions when you install the header.

ok thanks, i may hold off on putting the header on till i can put a full custom exhaust on. (hopefully mid November)
