So, unfortunately my 3s swap is still not complete. It should be done by october, but I know that once it is complete I have to bring it to emissions since my registration is up on the 13th. The big question is how do you pass. I spoke to my mechanic, he say's that you can ask for them to do a tail pipe test ahead of time and they have to get the ok from the dmv. He also told me that there is a product out on the market that has an obd2 plug in and it shows that your all good. Anyone have any idea, i've been searching for this obd2 thing, but haven't found it yet.

I went to the inspection station, they tested my car, and it passed. that' easy !
it really depends on your local inspection regulations, if they do a visual, no way around it, but if they test " emissions only " just make sure to install a quality high flow catalityc and you'll be good to go.
