My '94 ST, And her shortened story
I want to win frown.gif lol

Bought the car with my own money at 15, almost 16. Car was "deemed totaled" by previous owners insurance. Got the windshield fixed and a few body parts, but she didnt move... for many reasons. Joined auto. vo-tech in high school and brought her in for like half the year as my project (I was really far ahead)
Got her up and running.. and stopping lol.
Continued working on the car non-stop, up until now at 18, and have done absolutely everything myself, (with an exception of a little help, installing the new 7A) And the help of everyone on the forums of course. Love working on the celi, and trying new "bold" things.
▼Heres a Picture of Now▼
>>I dont have an expensive camera, or photography experience to bring out the true beauty, but I tried smile.gif>>

As you can see I've done alot of work, and as it may not be the cup of tea of some, its what I've always wanted. And I feel like you should never go in the direction someone tells you, but the way YOU want.

Future Plans- (never ending)

►Coilovers 2"+ drop
►As being my DD I love the 7A and getting 33mpg+. And I am only 18 putting my self through college lol, so money is bit tight! But after CSP I am determined to swap by end of next summer smile.gif 3SGTE here i come smile.gif But I have been doing alot of research. And seeing the success stories in person, are really inspiring smile.gif
►Hiro Spoiler on its way thanks to a member smile.gif
►If the 3s swap doesnt pull through, I plan to continue custom bodywork smile.gif Looking into different rear bumpers, but i love the invader front so im keeping that without a doubt!
►Also looking for projectors
►There is always tons of ideas floating through my head, just need the time, and inspiration to envision it smile.gif

▼Things you can't see▼ A Very Quick Overview▼

►Have spent alot of time with wiring, lighting, painting, and customizing.
►Have torn out the whole interior and painted.
►Custom red head lights, Custom Fogs, LED Interior (vents, handles, floor, seat, door, E-brake, dome, ect), 7 Color Underglow
►Have a 250 Amp Mechman Alternator, 2 batteries (Kinetik) all 1/0 Gauge wiring where it can be. 4000 Watt amp two 15's, and my custom spec. built box. 7" flip touch screen. Rear seats removed and just built in fiberglass "holder" for amp, crossovers, control box, ect.

Hope to get Your votes biggrin.gif And Good Luck to everyone biggrin.gif

This is my '96 ST202 SS-II Celica running a 3S-GE making 133KW or 179HP, just clocked over 75,000KM's (46,000 miles)

Keeping it clean and simple with the SS-III kit, complemented with a range of TRD items and Tein adj. suspension. Plans long term, keep it naturally aspirated. And to fit the items I've ordered, HKS: exhuast and silencer and camgears

Had the car for not quite a year, just really started to do stuff now, I was having too much fun just driving it! Car has been lowered (not sure what kind of springs, I purchased it already done) pioneer mp3 deck with sony amp and fusion sub, Ha Ha I know its alot of different but stereos are not my thing and its was all free. 17" rtx antitoxin rims with Nanking rubber. Cone air filter (oh its an ST btw) Just did the GT4 conversion on the hood and bumper within the last couple of weeks. Future plans, well I was gonna go with a gt swap next weekend and then 3sgte in the spring (the GT stuff is all very cheap) but I deceided to pull the car off the road for the winter) but I came across a good deal on a silver top. I know my car in not pretty but its driven, I have never entered before so be kind. biggrin.gif

this is a dumb question but how do you fuzz up the license plate? photoshop or something?

same skidpad grip as a 2006 M3....stock. 'nuff said
Photoshop, as well as photobucket editor (just google it) and if you have an account it brings you right to the editor. I believe its under distort. Quite self explanatory from there smile.gif

Ok, so the story on my celica is, I spent 5 years just trying to buy this car. After 5 years and a bunch of drama from the ex-wife, I finally got it. I have had the car for almost 2 years now. In this time I cut my springs, put slotted rotors and green stuff brake pads on it, tinted the wing windows, nigh shaded the tails, turns, and marker lights. Installed the stereo system, and put on the z3-fenders (from this site). Also put the 17's on it. Along with a couple other various things.
I fell in love with the car the first time i saw it and will never sell it. In the future i plan to re-tint my windows, either get different wheels for it or get wheel spacers. Hopefully his winter I will be repainting it. Other than that the only thing that I want to do is either an engine swap, or a turbo. Not sure yet.
I think i did this right, if not sorry. But here is a picture of it.

BABI BOI
No coupes?
Anyhow, have done a little here and there, but nothing major (say like an engine swap). As of now my plans are to keep her running, installing skirts and rear splitters (primed today), and a SSIII grille (which should be here in a month or so).

Just noticed that PhotoBucket only has a med size........what a shame, and I thought this was America! Yeah for FlickR!

Thanks, really appreciate it. But I know there are some real nice coupes on here as well (ahem coupe owners.....enter)!
I bought this car off my parents 3 years ago who bought it from an older couple, both of which only used it as a summer car. After given the car I was sad because it really did seem like a mix between a girls and old persons car. It was girly looking on the outside but had oem wood trim on the inside. I then had an individual by the name of jon come strolling through my car wash i worked at at the time with the same year and design of my celica except with ss3 and hiro parts surrounding his car and curren tail lights and I noticed the 6gc sticker in the window. So i decided to look it up when I got home and here I am today. I slowly built up what it is today, still stock engine with no more than a k&n filter and plugs and wires. The exterior I was very picky on what I wanted so it took me a while to decide on what to do. For future plans I believe I'll be buying some 404 skirts and making them fit the sides. Then get some zigen rims that I have picked out. And also I'm going to turbo the 5s on a low boost setting to have a little more power for my daily driver. Hope you like what you see, If i get picked that's awesome but I won't know it til december when i graduate from basic training, I actually leave tomorrow just thought I'd post this and give it a whirl before I went to bed. Thanks everyone be back soon.

This is my baby, I sacrificed a whole summer of hanging out with friends and doing fun things to buy this car. I worked full time plus overtime and I made enough money to buy her. I bought her from a former member, vituyen. She came with the wheels, HIDs, JDM SSIII seats, and SP2 exhaust. I bought her last year the day before Thanksgiving and she was unmodded until this past summer when I finally got enough money to start!

So far I've added an Injen SRI, facelift bumper, clear turns/sidemarkers, JDM SSIII grille/emblem, JDM tails, Falken 512 tires, Euro front splitters, and a GT strut brace.

My plans for her are to save up for BC BR series coils, spacers for functional flushness, TRD skirts and SSIII front/rear splitters, different wheels, JDM projector lows/clear highs, JDM facelift fogs, and a midnight blue paint job. Then when I can retire her as my DD, I'll be swapping the first BEAMS I can get my hands on.

Thanks for reading!

I have a 99 GT that I bought in oct of 08. Had to put in timing belt, water pump, oil pump, head gasket, clutch, and misc. seals. I cleaned up the intake and exhaust ports and had the head machined and valves done when the head was off to put on the new HG. Paint was oxidized and had road tar baked on so I spent a few days cleaning the paint.

As far as mods go I've put in 7th gen short shifter, installed 7th gen manual base and s2k antenna, clear turns and side markers, shaved some emblems from the back, made front grill, put in hood shocks, changed leds in climate controls, clear courtesy lights with blue leds, changed key and cig lighter rings to blue leds, added vincents shift and ebrake boot and arm rest cover.

Future mods. I have vincents seat cover set black/blue stitch just have to find the time to put them in. I want to get a clear 3rd brake lens and jdm tails. I may turbo the 5s later i have a few parts now.

I got this car about half a year ago, and it would randomly stall, and through the course of a half year, I've built it up to be a really reliable, and somewhat quick (compared to a bicycle) But recently I've gotten it painted, worked out some body work, and did a few other modifications to it. All on a budget

my '97 GT hatch smile.gif
his name is spyro.
he's got custom paint, spoiler converson, INGEN intake and exhaust.
interior blue LEDs in the whole dash and mood lights
i plan to make a few tweaks here and there but i like him the way he is now biggrin.gif

if your gonna enter, at least post a picture where you can actually SEE the car.

I tried my best, but maybe my editing software isnt all that good, or the sun is just way too bright, but I couldnt save those two. And its a shame for Hector, I know how good that car looks in the correct light too! (not saying my shot is any better)

Ive seen shots of that car which are great.....its too bad you were no local anymore, as I've found a few good spots to do a photo shoot. But as a tip (and Ive read up on this), try not to shoot with the sun in the back....lemme find that link. Here we are.........I know its for Cobras, but its good info.. I hope this helps, and hope to see some killer shots!
