im going to try one more thing imma check the remote wiring, is there a specific one i should use? what would you all recommend?

Amp install is simple.
You need power, from the positive terminal from the battery, you need a ground, which is commonly created via the trunk or seat belt bolts. You need a remote wire from the head unit. The wire is commonly labeled as remote. The rest is hooking up speakers.
Check battery terminals for ample surface area, and all connections. If it still doesn't work, your amp is fried.

there's no specific wire for the remote wire, you can use any wire for that. If there is one that runs with the RCA cables then use that one
