i had a LE, theyre LE because it was the last year for the STs. 1997 STs were considered "limited edition". the 96s were all aniversary edition. although im not sure how many of each were made respectivly

I have a 96 anniversary and the number is on the rear view mirror, there is a little emblem and it has the number on it.

theyre not numbered theyre just "limited edition" because it was the final year for them, if you have a 1997 ST then you have a limited edition, theres nothing special about them, it just says that on the title (or it should atleast)

possably something in the VIN or on the codes in the door.... honestly im not quite sure, i didnt do much searching for it when i owned it, watch i had like #2 or something like that off the line >
