im installing a new head in my 7afe now i need to loose the timing belt.... do i need to remove all the belts next to it? im not a mechanic so idk.... or can i just pull the belt off and then try to put it back in some way without losing it?
everything has to come off to get to the timing belt.

good luck

all belts have to come off to get the timing belt loose, i just changed my timing belt less than a year ago so i should know. the worst part though is the lower damper; depending on the last time it was off and how much loctite was used, it may be a b!#^% to get off
read my thread on build the 7A. i have tons of pictures on what needs to be done to get the timing belt done
