Electrical System Keeps Dying

Ok I replaced all the Battery Cables, Positive and Negative, Grounds, and the other 2 wires that come from my Positive Terminal on battery. Things were going kinda smooth for a bit, but I had the occasional hard time starting it, and then one day I drove it for a few minutes, tried to crank her up again and nothing. Not even an attempt of a low battery or anything. Complete electrical system dead. Not even enough juice I guess to open my Power Door Locks. Now im assuming of course the battery could have been crap, after all it was like a $40 battery i got from Walmart, but, a couple days later when I was not home my wife said the Alarm system went of. Now if my car does not have enough juice to even open the doors how can my alarm just go off by itself? I dont get it. Could this be a short somewhere? Faulty crap battery? Im clueless, and before I take it to a shop I know you guys here on 6GCelica are pretty dam smart and have helped me with issues in the past.

This probably is not enough info to fully fix my problem, but I will post whatever it is you need to know. So please let the trouble shooting begin.
Ok im gonna start investigating this issue tomorrow, i found a bunch of post with similar issues so well see how it goes smile.gif
Ok, so I know you got a manual. And your system dies (totally, cept for the freak time or two). I had a problem close to the same, that was starter related. I pulled off the starter leads and cleaned the hell outta them, and Ive been starting smooth since (save for the odd time or two...seriously its a 5% I dont start right off...but I still suspect NSW). I'd start there.
Yea im a silly noob, i think I found the issue, it was my grounds. I need to replace the whole negative cable and ground wires. I really hate messing with wires lol.
Dont replace them right away, clean the hell out of em! Wire brush, and sand paper. That not only includes the wires, but the grounding points.
Ok will do smile.gif . Yea it turns out when I replaced them originally I guess my electrical abilities really suck ass, Lol. Im horrible at splicing and connecting wires I guess. The cable to the terminal was like falling out due to I guess bad crimping and my splices I did for ground wires sucked. I need some electrical skills lol. Thanks for your help.
Damn, its a shame you didnt live closer, we coulda killed that.
