Transmission Slipping Around Turn? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #76787 5 posts Started by 96stgreendemon
Pulled out of a gas station last night and kind of gunned it, clutch had been out for a minute so it was not me hitting it, but i yanked the wheel right going about 5mph and it seemed like the clutch was slipping and filled the car with an unfamilar smell, granted i havent smelled the clutch since the new one was installed
It was just weird, and could it be anything to do with the new CV that i installed a couple of months back?
it wont do it when i hit the gas and im goind at a decent speed, just thought this was weird

im sure thats your problem
Hahaha its so sad us ST drivers aren't used to burning out frown.gif..Id bet your coils aren't perfectly level and when you turned right hard your right front wheel lost traction and as the c56 isnt lsd, only one spun..
LMAO!!! Kickazz thread. That unfamiliar smell is your tires burning, and slipping is you losing traction bro!
